TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs after police searches in five pubs in South Bucks.
A drugs dog was used in the operation, carried ut earlier this month, which targeted five pubs including The Apple Tree in Gerrards Cross, The Pheasant in Burnham and The Stag and Hounds in Farnham Common.
The pair, both in their 30s, have been released on bail while the substance they were alleged to have had is analysed.
PC Louise Sharples organised the searches using neighbourhood officers and special constables.
She said “ We carried out this operation because we are determined not to allow a drug culture to develop in our area.
“All pubs visited are part of the local Pubwatch scheme and local pub landlords fully supported the operation, as they are as keen as we are to deter drug use.
“I would like to thank all our local landlords and their staff for their continued support and co-operation.”
