Police commander to host web chat
A borough commander will be taking part in a live web chat next week to talk to people about policing in their area.
Brent Borough Commander Matthew Gardner will be hosting the web chat on Tuesday July 3 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
People will be able to put their questions to Mr Gardener about policing in Brent and raise any concerns they may have about crime in their area.
Those wanting to take part can do so by visiting the website below and submitting a question during the session in the window provided.
To take part people can visit http://www.met.police.uk/askmetboss/archive/askmetboss_brent.htm.

It's a consolation that we have some excellent officers from Harrow now serving Brent.Great allies.
I am sure our own Borough Commander and others will also set up similar facilities and much more!
The Commissioner is also coming up trumps with his regular, popular, Live web-casts ---next one due 27th June---and has introduced excellent videos for members of public to empower them.
The one on Stop & Search is quite an eye-opener for those who dont understand why it is conducted. His frank answers are refreshing and most re-assuring.Being able to use Facebook to access the web-casts is another brilliant idea--simple but very effective.
I expect local Borough Commanders setting up their web-casts will also find this a highly successful way to engage with our communities --- especially with our youth.
Frankly,Brent is leading the way for Stop and Search, with their "Mentoring" project, and have recently turned their Borough around quite dramatically crime-wise.Many congratulations to Brent Police.
I am sure many boroughs will share "best practice "with them and,in turn, offer Brent their outstanding projects.
Well done Matt Gardner for taking this bold step.Godspeed!
We look forward to our own borough web-cast possibly being launched soon.
