Man hospitalised and road closed after collision in Wembley

A road in Wembley has been closed after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision this morning.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was hit by a van as he crossed a road on Forty Lane, at the junction near the Paddocks, just before 10.45am.
Forty Lane is now closed in both directions.
The man was taken to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance with serious head injuries.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
