9:10am Saturday 4th February 2012 in Where I Live By Anna Slater
Historians will have the chance to dig into the past later this month when Brent Archives hosts an open day.
The free event, on Wednesday, February 15, will give people the chance to explore original documents from the archives, including maps, photographs and plans.
The day will run from 9am to 8pm and will also focus on the evolution of the Brent area, from rural farmland to planned urban centre. It also includes a small exhibition showcasing documents relating to the development of the borough.
To find out more about the event, call 020 8937 3541, e-mail archives@brent.gov.uk or visit www.brent.gov.uk/archives
