TWO teenagers are facing jail after being convicted of rape and sexual assault in a Harrow park.
Unemployed Jeton Jashari forced a 14-year-old girl to perform a sex act on him in The Grove Open Space while his friend Binak Hasa twice raped another 14-year-old.
The two girls spoke to police after the broad daylight attack, which happened on September 3, and a full-scale investigation was launched.
Hasa was arrested at his home six days after the attack took place, and following lengthy DNA testing Jashari was traced and arrested at the end of September.
Hasa, 19, of Salmon Street, Kingsbury, initially denied raping the girl twice but switched his plea to guilty in February just as his trial was set to begin.
But his partner in crime Jashari, 18, of Toorack Road, Harrow, continued to deny the charges against him, including stealing his victim's mobile phone.
He faced a week-long trial where the graphic details of his brutal attack on the girl were outlined, and the jury delivered a guilty verdict for Jashari at Harrow Crown Court yesterday.
The two teenagers will be sentenced on April 2, where both face a stretch behind bars.
