Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they want to trace in connection with an assault at a Freezy Water train station.
Officers from the British Transport Police are appealing for help identifying the duo, who they believe were connected with the attack on a 52-year-old man from Waltham Cross at just before 8pm on April 21 at Turkey Street Station.
A group of men talked to the victim before suddenly punching him and kicking him to the floor, leaving him unconscious and needing hospital treatment for two days. He suffered severe bruising and permanent damage to his hearing and right eye.
Detective Constable Mark Tabbron said: “This was a brutal, unprovoked attack which left a man hospitalised and with longer term medical issues.
“I’d appeal for anyone who recognises these men to come forward and assist our investigation.”
DC Tabbron has also released a picture of a man he wants to speak to who was in the station at the time and believe may have witnessed the attack.
