A MAN was stabbed 15 times and his dog critically injured in an attack involving 20 youths.
The 22-year-old victim is in a stable condition in hopsital after being repeatedly stabbed in his chest, neck, face and leg in the fight which happened at 6.39pm in Kettering Road, Enfield, on Friday night.
The man's five-month-old dog, Tyson, was also beaten by the gang and stabbed in its liver. It is in a critical condition.
Two black men wearing hooded tops were seen running away from Kettering Road towards Ordnance Road.
Two knives have been recovered by police from the scene. Detective Inspector Paul Burton of Enfield CID said: "This was a very nasty incident and it is a miracle that the victim is still alive. We are keeping an open mind regarding a motive.
"We would ask anyone who witnessed or has any information regarding this incident to come forward to help us with our investigation."
