Seven arrested following Hertford Road teen stabbing

A TEENAGER was stabbed and two more suffered serious head injuries in Hertford Road last week.

Seven suspects were arrested following the attacks, which took place last Monday at around 5.30pm, near the junction of Turkey Street.

Officers attending the scene discovered a 19-year-old suffering from severe head injuries after being hit over the head with a metal object.

Another 19-year-old was also suffering from a head injury and an 18-year-old had been stabbed in the leg.

All three were taken to Chase Farm Hospital, in The Ridgeway.

The suspects have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Where is the visible Police presence in our community........all you hear are the sirens and a flash as they go by. Visibility is what's missing, then we these groups of children will find it more difficult to roam the streets in gangs. They terrorize shop's and risidents down Lancaster Rd, shouting abuse, leaving bottles of alcahol on the ground and generally being a pain.
