Twitter users can follow a day in the life of Hertfordshire County Council through a tweetathon event later this month.
From midday on Monday, February 20, Hertfordshire County Council be using social networking website Twitter to help demonstrate a typical working day at the council.
The day of tweeting is intended to show the areas council covers as part of its responsibility to the people of Hertfordshire.
The county council is responsible for road maintenance, schools, libraries and social care, but the council wants to show people the other areas it covers, such as running boxing sessions for youngsters and helping people research their family history.
