School pupils took part in an African drumming workshop today as part of their lessons on cultures from Africa.
Pupils from St John's Church of England Infant School, in Radlett, were treated to a special performance from a drummer from the Wise Moves Dance Company and each class got the chance to have a go on the drums.
Children from nursery up to year two all enjoyed the lessons as part of the school's weeklong creative theme on Africa.
Josie Starr who works at the school said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic and all the children have learnt so much from the visit.
“The best thing is all of them get a chance to have a go and learn how to play the drums.”
