Drivers are being warned to take extra care when travelling on roads today after the heavy fall of snow at the weekend.
The Met Office has given a yellow warning for most of England, including Hertfordshire, and has warned of icy roads, ice fog and hazards on pavements.
Conditions are expected to be difficult on minor roads, but most major roads are running smoothly.
Most of England and Wales was covered in a blanket of snow on Saturday evening, in some places 16cm deep, which caused major traffic disruption.
There were traffic issues in Hertfordshire with conditions causing trouble on the A1 and A41 and vehicles stranded on the M25.
