BUDDING beauty queens can now apply for a place in this year's Miss Hertfordshire competition.
The winner will be given a place in the Miss England finals, and auditions are held on Sunday February 28.
Former Miss England, Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge was chosen as a model for La Senza lingerie and in January 2010 was named the new face of dating website www.uniformdating.com
Each year the finalists raise money for local charities, and in the past five years more than £20,000 has been collected. This year money will go towards the Hearing dogs charity.
Entrants must be aged from 17-24 at the time of the Miss World final in December 2010, and neither married or had children.
