THE murder investigation into the death of a Wood Green soldier has led to another arrest.
Northern Ireland police arrested a 44-year-old man yesterday in County Antrim where soldiers Patrick Azimkar, 21, of Wood Green, and Mark Quinsey, of Birmingham, were gunned down last March.
He has since been released unconditionally, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Two men, Brian Shivers, 44, of Magherafelt, and Colin Duffy, 41, of Lurgan, were charged with the two murders last year.
Mr Duffy is being held in custody after a request for bail was denied in November 2009.
An appeal for bail lodged by Orlando Pownell QC, on behalf of Mr Shivers, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, was granted at the Northern Ireland High Court in September 2009.
Mr Shivers is due in court for a preliminary hearing on February 9 at Antrim Magistrates Court and Mr Duffy will appear at the same court on January 26 for a remand hearing.
A trial is not expected to start before August 2010.
