SERVICES in Haringey are facing minimal disruption despite fresh snow falling last night, according to Haringey Council.
No schools have reported as being closed and priority roads in the borough have been gritted, a spokeswoman said.
Recycling services may be affected owing to a backlog of uncollected rubbish following last week's snowfall.
Extra catch-up services will run the Saturday, January 16, for any residents whose rubbish remains uncollected.
The Victoria line, which serves Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters, is running a "good service", according to TfL.
But the Piccadilly line, which serves Bounds Green, Wood Green and Turnpike Lane, is experiencing minor delays due to adverse weather conditions.
It is part-suspended between Acton Town and Uxbridge. This does not affect services to Heathrow.
According to the Met Office website light snow showers will continue throughout the morning with sleet expected this afternoon.
A warning reads: "This will give further accumulations of 2 to 5 cm in places and perhaps locally up to 8 cm. Snow falling on frozen surfaces is also likely to cause icy stretches on untreated roads and pavements."
