Car in flames in residential Tottenham road

STARTLED Tottenham residents were woken early this morning to find a car had burst into flames in their road.

The Grove Road residents told how they heard two loud bangs before spotting a black BMW ablaze at around 1.12am.

Firefighters from Tottenham fire station, in St Loys Road, arrived minutes later and spent thirty minutes to try and extinguish the burning vehicle.

Another car parked close by was also damaged in the car.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
