A 19-YEAR-OLD will appear in court later this month accused of stabbing two teenagers in broad daylight.
Fast food employee Cuneyt Kaya, of Kendal Avenue, Enfield, was arrested by police following the attack in Town Hall Approach, Tottenham, near the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, on December 1, 2009.
Officers raced to the scene at 11.10am following reports of two teenagers suffering stab wounds.
One 17 year-old male had been slashed in his face, stomach and left arm. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital for treatment.
Another 17 year-old male fled the scene following his ordeal but later returned where he spoke to police and was treated by paramedics.
He was taken to the North Middlesex Hospital, in Edmonton.
Both victims have since been discharged.
He appeared at Enfield and Haringey Magistrates Court, in Lordship Lane, yesterday charged with two counts of section 18 wounding with intent.
Kaya will appear for a preliminary hearing at Wood Green Crown Court, also in Lordship Lane, on January 14.
