POLICE swooped on a man in Leyton High Road following reports he was seen walking down the street carrying a gun.
Officers searched the 57-year-old after passers-by raised the alarm at 12.15pm yesterday (Sunday April 1) close to the junction with Church Road.
A Met spokesman said no weapon was found.
