A WOMAN fell over and broke her shoulder when thieves snatched her handbag.
The 63-year-old was walking along Carr Road in Walthamstow when two men approached from behind and wrenched it off her.
It happened at around 10.50pm on Thursday January 26. Police have released information today as part of an appeal for witnesses.
Detectives say the woman had been walking down Winns Terrace prior to the robbery and had seen two men by the road's entrance to Lloyd Park.
The muggers ran back in that direction afterwards.
The first suspect is a black man aged between 25 and 35, who is around five foot seven to five foot ten feet tall.
He is of a large build and was wearing a black 'Puffa' top and black bottoms. He also had noticeable facial stubble.
The second suspect is described by police as a mixed-race, light skinned man aged between 25 and 32.
He is about six foot tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded top and grey jogging bottoms. He may also have carried a bag.
One of the suspects was also thought to be wearing white trainers.
