North East London NHS Foundation Trust wins gold accreditation for NHS 2012 Sport and Physical Activity Challenge

A HEATH trust has become the first in London to be honoured for encouraging patients and staff to take up sport.
North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT), which provides specialist mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services for people living in Redbridge won gold accreditation for the NHS 2012 Sport and Physical Activity Challenge.
Jimmy Garber, a matron at Brookside mental health unit in Goodmayes, led the application and received the award at an event in Whitehall on Tuesday.

If only they could win gold for their mental health services. Gold medals in sports doesn't help patients

When did you last sit in senior management organisational development and planning meetings? When did you last collect, collate and feedback service user and carer comments about NELFT services? When did you last use their services?
