Mohammed Mahroof Mustafa, was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter at a previous hearing.
Mustafa killed Mr Mahroof with a single stab wound in the neck at the Rye park, High Wycombe, on May 8 last year.

Disappointed with the sentence, scum like this, who ended up killing someone for money to buy alcohol, should be stoned! 5 yrs is nothing.

Funny isnt it, how some parts of society believe that Sharia law should apply over British Law, but i dont hear anyone calling for it now ? Why ? Because it would carry a death sentence !

Bernard, lets not forget that the death penalty was only abolished in 1965 in Britain!! If you speak to any of the families of people who have been murdered, I'm sure they'll agree that the murderers ought to be hanged! And no not just Muslims, but anyone who has lost someone because of a lunatic murderer. This guy is only spending 5 yrs of his life in prison, whereas 2 young kids are going to have to spend the rest of their lives without a father, a wife without a husband, a sister without her brother..all because two lads wanted money for booze...does that put things into perspective for you?

Missy, be under no illusion, technically the death penalty has not been abolished and can still be envoked for both Piracy and High Treason.
I was not making light of this situation in anyway, i am highlighting a point that was raised a little while ago about parts of Sharia Law being acceptable in the UK based legal system. To that end i am asking why noone from the community has asked for the encumbant to face said law ?
I am firmly of the opinion that if there is no doubt at all that someone has comitted such a crime, then yes, the family should be given the option to request the death penalty.
Unfortunately, because of all manner of human rights legislation, we cant do that now, and the liberal live and let live sorts will never allow this to be reversed.
Personally, i think public hanging would be a good idea, might put others off doing the same thing !

Asif Akram Mohammed, 26, of Roberts Road, High Wycombe, was given "an indeterminate sentence for public protection to serve a minimum of five years"
- This means he could spend life in jail if he fails to satisfy the parole board he is 'safe' to be released.
Bernard, I can see what you are aluding to. Just cos no-one has come on here regarding sharia law in this case does not mean this justice would not willingly be served on a muslim by a muslim - quite the contrary.
Finally Bernard, all stats show the death penalty does not "put off others doing the same thing"

Billy, if you seriously believe that this guy is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison you are deluded.
The prison system has a revolving door policy as far as i am concerned. This guy will be out on the streets in less than 5 years, back to his old ways.
