Man cleared of body under shed murder in Eltham

A MAN accused of murdering a teenager and burying him under a shed has been acquitted by an Old Bailey jury.

Lee Davies, 36, of Chiswell Square, Blackheath, admitted unlawful burial but denied murdering Stephen Ojerinola.

The body of the 18-year-old was found encased in concrete last November, buried in William Regan’s garden in Lynsted Gardens, Eltham.

The jury cleared Davies of murder and manslaughter at The Old Bailey on June 15.

Regan, who denied murder, now faces a retrial after the jury was unable to reach a verdict.

He admits killing Stephen Ojerinola but claims he was acting in self-defence.

Regan previously pleaded guilty to his unlawful burial.

Davies will be sentenced following the outcome of the retrial - at a date yet to be set.
