THE Clare Foundation is looking for volunteers who will help support a range of charities and get involved in the community.
The charity hub was opened at the Saunderton Estate last October, which used to belong to pharmaceutical company Johnson and Johnson.
It was set up by entrepreneur Mike Clare, founder of beds company Dreams, and offers charities subsidised rent and business advice.
The Child Bereavement Charity has moved from its home in West Wycombe to the hub where it now has its head quarters.
David Lawrance, head of development, said it needs volunteers to help in a number of ways.
He said: “We want to build a bit of a local community feel around here. We are set up to help any and every charity.
“Mike Clare's vision is about helping charities to be more efficient and effective- a bit more business like.”
The 50,000 square feet office complex offers office accommodation at subsidised rates, conference and function facilities and subsidised training.
Volunteers are needed who can commit a few hours a week to help with administration services but it will also need help at events.
Mr Lawrance added: “It will become a very social place.”
It is also looking for skilled and experienced people to advise charities who may need help or guidance on how to tackle a specific area but this would be on a more ad hoc basis.
If you would like to volunteer call Rachael Birkwood on 03007777000 or visit the volunteer section on www.theclarefoundation.org.
