A MAN has appeared in court today charged with raping a 17-year-old girl in 1980.
Norman Stanley appeared at Wycombe Magistrates' Court accused of attacking the girl in Micklefield Road.
The 60-year-old, of Great Billington, Bedfordshire, spoke only to confirm his name during today's hearing.
Magistrates remanded him in custody. He is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 23.
