LEYTON: MP in Boris "fag" jibe
    Harry Cohen
    Harry Cohen

HARRY Cohen has likened new London Mayor Boris Johnson to a "fag" at a public school.

The Leyton MP said: "In parliament I keep seeing Boris with David Cameron, the former slouched, the latter upright.

"They look like fag and head-boy at a public school.

"Fag in the old sense of doing the prefect's bidding.

"The new Mayor has to be more independent than a fag if he is to deal with London's problems properly."

Mr Cohen did however congratulate Mr Johnson on his victory and added that he wished him well in the job.

What the hell is Harry on about, I expect to see Boris around where I live more than Harry. I cannot remember the last time I saw Harry in Waltham Forest. He probably likes staying in that other house he claims for than waste time around here. Harry is the local MP because he is Labour not because of who he is. Sometimes he forgets that.

Stick to what you know (then we won't see anything from you).

Harry said he would stand down at the next general election. I did not realise it had taken place. Comments from him like the one reported serve only to reduce even further his already fragile reputation.

I'm glad Harry Cohen can take time out from supporting youth crime and buying homes far from Waltham Forest to criticise someone who at least cares about improving communities in London.

Harry Cohen engages in personal attacks but wouldn't face up to his critics who want him to explain the basis for the ridiculous face in the trough behaviour he has been engaged in hidden behind the guise of Parliamentary privileges. He should pay back all the money he has immorally taken from the taxpayers by through his highly dubious 'expenses' claims while an MP. I don't see that an MP like Mr Cohem has any credibility left a person, nor is his politics honourable: this is the man who congratulated the murdering and torturing dictator Castro on having kept kept power for years and years witout having a free or fair election. Cohen is no democrat and no-one should take lessons from him. He is one of the mediocre unprincipled politicians which this country will be glad to see the back of.
