Burglars target Northwood house
AROUND £5,000 worth of jewellery and a car were stolen from a house in Northwood yesterday.
The owner of the house in Pinner Road was away when it was burgled between 1.30pm and 11.40pm.
The thieves smashed a front window to get in.
Items stolen also included a DVD player, two red money boxes containing around £40, a passport and a watch.
A silver Vauxhall Zafira, which was parked in the drive, was also taken.
Witnesses believe a man seen in the area, described as aged around 35, approximately 6ft tall, who was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans, could be linked to the burglary.
