Appeal over 'brutal' attack
TWO men were released from hospital yesterday after a "brutal" attack by up to 15 people in South Harrow left them needing surgery.
The gang, some of whom were armed, left a 21-year-old and a 26-year-old head and neck injuries at Kebab Express, in Northolt Road, at around 1.35am, on Saturday, May 11.
The fight broke out after an argument between the pair and a Somali man, thought to be part of the group.
They were taken to Northwick Park Hospital, in Watford Road.
The Somalian was described as around 5ft 9ins tall, with defined cheek bones. He was wearing a green army cap and baggy jeans.
Detective Constable Laura Curry, of Harrow CID, said: "This was a brutal attack in which two young men sustained very serious injuries."

Occuring a few days after the Stanley Road incident this has saddened myself. It hasn't been a good few days for our local area. As a person of Indian origin I feel strongly that people who are allowed to emigrate to this country should not be allowed to stay if they do act in a civilised, sociable and productive manner. Criminal and Violent behaviour by a few can damage the community's reputation. This isn't the first time that young Somalis have caused problems and have helped damage people's perceptions of the overall Somali Community whom I am sure most of are just as law abiding and decent as the rest of us.

I run a business on Wealdstone. The young Somalian men are creating a no go area in Wealdstone High Street. The police and council have to address this problem, as it will only get a lot lot worse.

somalian youtghs seem to be a rule unto themselves, isn't it something like over 90% of somalian men are unemployed and claim benefits? wealdstone is rife with them hanging around all day. on their own they are not very intimidating at all but they seem to always be in groups of ten +, i feel like my area is being taken from me and ruinned

Frankly this is untrue!! Simply a group of youths hang around certain areas in harrow and cause problems, because of this you can’t label entire community for not contributing to society!!! Clearly the media shows this sort of issues with youths seems to be wider problem with every community in the land!! So let’s address this issue more fairly rather than blaming the Somalis

Where do these figures actually come from?????? Frankly this is untrue!! Simply a group of youths hang around certain areas in harrow and cause problems, because of this you can’t label entire community for not contributing to society!!! Clearly the media shows this sort of issues with youths seems to be wider problem with every community in the land!! So let’s address this issue more fairly rather than blaming the Somalis

As a customer at kebab express i was shoked at the hyjean at this restaurant it is no vonder that boy got beeten up at such a rubbish facility! i will never go there agen. Once i placed a order for wegetarian food and i got a meat feast pizza!

Anybody who lives in Wealdstone will agree that Somalian immigration into the area has ruined it forever, why are they here? They don't contribute in the slightest? The only people who benefit are businesses that sell prams for babies. When was the last time you saw a Somalian NOT pushing a pram? What a cesspit.

Harrow Town Center is not much better, you will see clowns and muppets around the bus station on most days especially round 6:30pm (of all colours, races and creeds). Harrow is a well known joke that the rest of the South East sneers at. The Somalian thugs has added to the overall problem. I also now hear that East European thugs have been beaten up a man in Harrow recently.
