EPPING: Buster, 101, and the former Page 3 girl

JUST weeks after completing the Flora London Marathon, 101-year-old Buster Martin is setting his sights on a fun run in Epping.

Buster - who is awaiting confirmation that his achievements in the London race have earned him a world record - will be running the 5km Rhys Daniels Trust run next Sunday (May 11).

Organisers hope that former Page 3 girl and Emmerdale actress Linda Lusardi will start the race, from Epping Sports Centre, in Hemnall Street, at 11am.

Guinness World Records are awaiting confirmation that Buster is 101, following claims that he is younger than he says,l before confirming that he is the oldest person to complete a marathon.

The Epping-based charity expects the reoord to be confirmed soon once Buster's passport details have been ratified.

Local fun runners will be taking part in the run, the 14th fun run held by the charity which provides accommodation for parents close to hospital where their children are being treated, through its Home from Home appeal.

    London, Cardiff and Sutton, Surrey.

The next move is to support the Children's Unit and Neonatal Hospital in Southampton.

For more details about the run, and how to register, ring Julie, at the charity, on 01992 570550.

Mr. Khalid appears to have perfect spelling and english, but chooses to hide behind his infantile pretences. This was evident in a previous post where he forgot to be stupid.
