    EPPING FOREST ELECTIONS LIVE: Tories retain council control

    WITH all the results in, 2008 has marked another succesful year for the Conservatives in the Epping Forest District after they retained overall control of the council.

    In a bad day for the BNP the nationalists lost two seats although group leader Pat Richardson was re-elected.

    The Tories gained four seats although they lost one as Bob Church was voted out of Buckhurst Hill West.

    Loughton Residents Association gained two seats and lost one.

    The new make up of the Council is: CON 35, LIB DEM 9, LRA 6, BNP 4, LABOUR 1 ,OTHERS 3
