Man charged over university stabbing
AN 18-year-old Enfield man has been charged in connection with a stabbing at Hertfordshire University last year.
Toheeb Adebayo, of Brookfields, has been charged with affray following the incident at the university's de Havilland campus, in Hatfield, in late November.
Following a fracas at the Mosquito Way site in the early hours of November 28, two 21-year-old men from Luton were rushed to QE2 Hospital, in Welwyn Garden City, with serious stab wounds.
One was knifed in the leg and the other in his back.
Gabriel Mmieh, 20, of Wood Green, was remanded in custody charged with affray and grievous bodily harm.
Adebayo and another 18-year-old, Lloyd Dairo, of Barnet, were both charged with affray and bailed.
The trio will appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, May 19.
