Police appeal for witnesses following death of cyclist in Ruckholt Road, near junction of A12

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the death of a 28-year-old cyclist at the junction of Ruckholt Road with the A12, close to the border of Waltham Forest.
An Olympic double-decker bus collided with the cyclist last night, but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.14pm.
The 65-year-old driver of the coach was arrested, but later released on bail.
Formal identification of the male cyclist is yet to happen, but next of kin have been informed.
An inquest into the death will open and adjourn today at Poplar's Coroners Court, Tower Hamlets.
The investigation into the cyclists death is ongoing and enquiries continue.
