AN investigation has been launched into a fire at a block of flats.
A woman had to be rescued by fire-fighters after the blaze broke out in a three-storey building in Churchill Terrace, Chingford, on Saturday (February 4).
The London Fire Brigade says it was called at 3.12pm and that 11 people escaped before crews arrived.
The fire was brought under control at 4.11pm.
Part of a five-room flat on the second floor was damaged as well as part of the roof.
Four engines and around 20 fire-fighters from stations in Chingford, Walthamstow and Woodford attended the scene.
