A drop-in centre has been launched at Whipps Cross Hospital to make it easier for patients to raise concerns and get advice.
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), which supplys patients, carers and family with a telephone and email advice line, has now developed a face-to-face service.
A new office is to be set up in the hospital to compliment the existing email and telephone service. Dr Nancy Fontaine, Director of Nursing, is to run special PALS surgeries herself.
She said: “We are delighted to have this new facility. I really want to encourage everyone to use the new facility and drop into one of the surgeries during the year.
“Patient care is our top priority and we want to ensure everyone treated here feels safe, comfortable and valued.”
