A man was assaulted in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton as he left a grocery shop


A MAN was attacked as he left a Leyton grocery shop.

The 25-year-old victim was leaving the store in Lea Bridge Road at about 11.55am on June 20 when he was set upon by three other men.

He was hit over the head with what he believes to be bottle before his attackers made off into Melbourne Road, where one was seen getting into a black car.

London Ambulance Service attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for a cut to his head and a swollen lip.

The first suspect is described as a black man, aged about 23, about 5ft 9in, and wearing a green vest top and green shorts.

The second is also described as a black man, also aged about 23, about 5ft 6in, and wearing a red Barcelona t-shirt and shorts.

No description has been released of the third suspect.

I don't know if the police have already checked it out but the second suspect sounds as though it could be Eto'o, possibly in the country for talks with Man Utd.
