Firefighters Ben Johnson, Andy Stone, Andrew Black,Nick Lodge, Marc Lemon, Michael Tyrell-Price and Steve White with customers Nicky and Tristan Vetta with baby Seb.
FIREFIGHTERS took a break from their duties to serve hot drinks and cakes for charity.
Members of Loughton Fire Station's Blue Watch brewed up this morning (October 2) as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser.
Organiser Andrew Black, 32, said his colleagues' efforts had gone down a treat - raising £240 for the cause.
"It was the first time we have done it and it was good - we were full up at one point," he said.
The event, held in the station in Old Station Road, also gave youngsters a glimpse inside the team's fire engine.
"Some of them didn't want to leave," said Mr Black.
"We have lots of cakes left over, but I'm sure we'll find a few homes for them."
Mr Black thanked Sainsbury's Loughton for providing food for the event.
