SNOW has turned London and Essex into a winter wonderland.
Between two and four inches of snow settled in Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Epping overnight to create a blank canvas for parents and children to create snowmen and snow angels.
The snow also plunged London into travel problems, with the Central line suffering severe delays and London buses accepting tickets via any reasonable route.
Transport for London poured 2,000 tonnes of grit onto roads to prevent cars coming to a stand still.
