FEARS are growing for the welfare of a young man with learning difficulties who has been missing for a week.
Liam Gibson, 20, from Ware was last seen boarding a bus from Harlow to Bishop's Stortford on Friday November 7.
He is described as being white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, a red and blue baseball jacket, blue denim jeans and white trainers.
Liam is said to be fascinated by the London Underground system and police believe that he could have travelled into the city.
PC Andy Gorrell said: “We are asking for the public’s support in tracing Liam. We are particularly concerned about Liam because he has learning difficulties, which puts him at extra risk."
He added: “If anyone believes they have seen Liam, or knows of his whereabouts, I would strongly urge they contact us immediately.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 0845 33 00 222.
