Fined for vandalising cars
A 24-YEAR-OLD from Northolt was handed an £80 fine yesterday for vandalising eight cars in April.
The man, from Radcliffe Way, was arrested at around 2am on Saturday, April 19, when police were called to Byron Road, Northolt, to reports of two men smashing wing mirrors and windscreens.
He was arrested along with another 24-year-old homeless man and the pair were bailed to return to Acton Police Station on Monday.
The homeless man was allowed to go due to a lack of evidence, while the other suspect was fined £80 under the Penalty Notice Disorder scheme, which is designed to offer a fast method of dealing with minor offences.
