Attack outside Gravesend pizza shop

A 55-YEAR-OLD man has serious head injuries after being assaulted outside a Gravesend takeaway.

The incident happened near Pizza GoGo in New Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday (May 10).

Emergency services were called and the victim, who is believed to be from the area, was taken to Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford.

He was then taken to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill.

Anyone with any information about the attack should call Kent police on 01474 369055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

i think its disgusting, the violence is getting out of control, and a 55 yr old man gets attacked, has no-one got any morals these days?

I live 1minute from where it happened doesnt make me feel safe at all. Sick of stuff like this happening.

the same thing happened to my dad 2 years ago his never fully recovered my heart goes out to the family, i no how hard these times are he was taken to kings too and the hospital staff there are fantastic.
its a sick wor;ld when you cant go out and feel safe but at the end of the day this is gravesend just take a look around.

This is becoming a regular occurence, why are there never any police in the area? Its a busy area, especially on a Saturday night and there are a number of busy pubs in the vicinity. We need more police presence!
