THE World Scout Jamboree held at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, last summer as helped contribute to the fastest rise in Scout membership for 22 years.
The Chingford-based Scout Association says 15,000 new members joined up nationally in the last 12 months - a 3.7 per cent increase in youth membership and a 1.7 per cent increase in adult membership.
