Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is expected to be out for three weeks after scans showed he has a partially torn ankle ligament.
The Russia international was forced off during Spurs' defeat to Hull at the weekend and a closer inspection has shown the problem is likely to keep him out until the end of October.
"Roman will now undergo further treatment on the ankle after specialists declared him unfit to play for the next three weeks," said a Spurs statement.
