Mamma Mia! star Dominic Cooper has claimed he cannot remember what happens at the end of the hit film, just two years after he appeared in it.
The movie hunk, 31, also failed to identify what the letters in ABBA stood for as he took part in a TV quiz, despite the band being the inspiration for the film.
Stumped Dominic, filming a new series of Chris Moyles' Quiz Night, told the host: "I need help".
The British actor played a leading role in box office smash Mamma Mia! - based on the music of the Swedish chart stars - alongside Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep.
But appearing on the Channel 4 comedy quiz show, Dom struggled to remember the story when he tried to explain it to Moyles, who has not seen it.
He said: "It's about a young girl who wants to find out who her real father is, so she goes on a search ... I've forgotten... and then she finds her father eventually. Does she? Oh no, she's still unsure, in fact. She never knows. I've got no idea."
Then quizzed about the name ABBA, he was unable to spot that it came from the first letters of the band's first names - Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-Frid.
He eventually wrote simply "their names" on his answer sheet, then after some thought added: "I need help. This is quite serious."
Motormouth Moyles then lambasted him, saying: "You were in a film, based on them and their songs. You've probably met them."
Co-panellist Katie Price, 31, managed to name all four members of the band correctly.
