Adam Sandler has said he feels like he is too slow to be a Saturday Night Live host.
The comedy actor was a cast member of the US sketch show from 1990 to 1995, but left amid rumours bosses wanted him out because of a critical backlash, according to Digital Spy.
When asked by friend Norm MacDonald in a podcast whether he would guest host the show in future, he said: " Why should I? I don't know how good it would be. I'm slow now.
"There are guys who love doing it, who are great at doing it. I just don't know how good I'd be doing it. I did what I could do on that show."
Adam has made guest cameos on the NBC programme since leaving, but has not been back for a longer appearance.
The Blended star has said before that he was scared when he left Saturday Night Live: "There are 20 shows a year and you're definitely going to get on some of them and get to do your thing.
"When that goes away, there's no life jacket. You're just on your own and you've gotta figure it out."
