Davis lines up Celebrity Squares
Warwick Davis is set to host a new series of the classic game show Celebrity Squares.
The Life's Too Short star originally fronted a pilot episode in November and now the programme has been taken to a full series order for ITV, according to the Radio Times.
The late Bob Monkhouse originally presented the show, which ran from 1975 to 1979 and then made a comeback from 1993 to 1997.
Warwick's revival of the game show will follow the same format of contestants trying to complete rows on a giant board of famous faces by deciding whether they agree or disagree with the answers the celebrities have given to general knowledge questions.
He announced the news on Twitter, saying: "I am thrilled to announce that I'm to host a reboot of the classic gameshow, @CelebSquares - Noughts & Crosses with a celebrity twist! @ITV."
Celebrity Squares is based on the American show Hollywood Squares and the new series is taking contestant applications until May 2 on the ITV website.
