Tom Cruise has revealed that Mission: Impossible 5 will be "very entertaining".
The Hollywood star, who will reprise his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt in the next instalment, said a script has already been written.
Asked how they would top the fourth film, he said: "I never think like 'we're going to top it', we're just going to try to make the film as entertaining as possible."
Tom, who was given the Empire Legend of a Lifetime gong at the 2014 Jameson Empire Awards, said fans of the franchise will not be disappointed.
He added: "We've come up with a lot of fun things. I don't know. I think it's going to be a very entertaining movie, very thrilling."
His co-star Simon Pegg, who will return to play scientist Benji Dunn, also revealed that they plan to start shooting in the summer.
"We're not far off (from starting). I think we're going to start in the summer and I'm looking forward to getting back with that team. I'm very excited about working with Christopher McQuarrie. The script is exciting, so I'm excited about that," he said.
Jeremy Renner is also tipped to return for Mission: Impossible 5, which will be released in December 2015.
