Robbie Take That deadline extended
Gary Barlow has revealed he is extending the deadline for Robbie Williams to decide if he will rejoin Take That.
The band - Gary, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Donald - have already begun work on their seventh album, but Robbie, who lives with his wife and daughter in LA, has not been involved.
Gary said: "We need to know what we are doing by the end of May.
"The thing is with Robbie is that he is a family man, so whether he will be in the final line-up I'm not sure."
The 43-year-old songwriter had previously given Robbie until January to make his mind up.
But according to the Daily Mirror, Gary revealed on Alan Carr's Chatty Man he is not ruling out any future collaboration with Robbie if he doesn't commit to rejoining the band.
He added: "If he's not back in the band, he'll write on the record and we will work with him on his next record."
Robbie originally quit Take That in 1995 to go solo and the boyband broke up a year later.
But they reformed as a four-piece in 2006 and had two more hit albums, before Robbie rejoined them in 2010 for their sixth album Progress.
Robbie toured with Take That in 2011 but went solo again in 2012.
