James Corden has warned One Direction not to make the same mistakes as teen pop star Justin Bieber.
The actor - who is hosting the Brit Awards for the fourth and final time this year - recently joined 1D's Harry Styles and Take That's Gary Barlow on a lads holiday.
James, 35, praised the boyband, who shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2010 and are all aged between 20 and 22, for coping so well with life in the spotlight.
He told The Sun: "I can't imagine what the world is like for them.
"But I'll tell you what, you've only got to look over the water at a certain Mr Bieber to realise quite how together they are.
"They're still unbelievably young. They're going to do stuff and they're going to make mistakes in the same way that anyone does. What do you expect?
"But it's not IF you make mistakes, it's how you respond to them.
"Whenever they make mistakes they've always said, 'I'm really sorry about that, I won't do it again.'
"What you don't want is people going, 'S**** you, I'm the man around here.' That's what Bieber seems to do."
