Corden: New TV always terrifying
James Corden has admitted he finds making a new TV programme "terrifying".
The Gavin And Stacey star told the Radio Times that he has been working on series two of his BBC hit The Wrong Mans with co-star and co-creator Mathew Baynton, but finds working on new material scary.
He said: "Right now we're plotting. That's the biggest task with that show. Once it's plotted, that's three quarters of the mission. We have yellow Post-it notes all over the walls."
James said he was pleased with the success of the first series, but added: "But it's always terrifying. You feel like you're in a bunker or a trench when you're making these things. And at some point you have to go, 'Right, let's go over the top and see if we get shot down.'
"But it feels like it was all right. You know, the best thing is, it's absolutely the show that we wanted to make. The percentage that we changed was so small. So I'm immensely proud of it, and that it found its audience.
"But Mat and I have got to try and do it again now, and that's even harder."
