Sandra Bullock has revealed that working with a British crew on Gravity made it one of the best experiences of her career.
The Oscar winner filmed the space epic opposite George Clooney at Shepperton and Pinewood studios and said the English location made it a dream film to work on.
Speaking at the Oscar nominees luncheon in Los Angeles, the best actress contender paid tribute to the people working behind the scenes.
"It was probably one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had, coupled with living in one of the most beautiful places, Richmond, I was able to leave that heaven and go to a black sound stage for four months, working with the nicest group of people, the kindest, most patient group of people I have ever worked with."
She added: "They all had a tremendous amount riding on them because of the new technology and the unknown waters; they didn't know if I could do what they needed, I didn't know if they could give me what I needed so it should have been a very stressful situation but every single day was so supportive so I had one of the best filming experiences I have ever had."
Sandra already has an Academy Award to her name for her performance in football drama The Blind Side and will face off against Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench and Amy Adams
