Alec Baldwin has expressed his disgust after claiming his baby girl was given a "pat down" at an airport.
The former 30 Rock star said five-month-old Carmen - his daughter with wife Hilaria Thomas - was selected to be checked by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as the family were returning to New York following a break in the Bahamas.
He tweeted: "Flying from Nassau, Bahamas 2 NY. TSA "random selects" my 5 month old daughter 4 a pat down. I am not kidding. #travelinginUSisadisgrace."
However, according to reports in the US, the TSA confirmed they do not carry out screening at Nassau airport, and that they do not pat down children under 12.
Another Twitter user also pointed out to Alec that the TSA does not exist in the Bahamas, as it is an independent nation and isn't in the US.
The 55-year-old actor replied: "So, I guess there is a TSA-like function as you go through US customs in Nassau. But you sophisticate, you! You got me. #dyk."
