Drew Barrymore has said she is eating what she wants during her pregnancy, despite her doctor advising her to "pull back".

The actress, 38, is expecting her second daughter with husband Will Kopelman.

She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "I just eat everything I want, which isn't healthy. I'm bigger this time than my first time. My doctor the other day was like, 'Yeah, so I think maybe pull back. A little bit.'

"I was like, really? I thought I was doing great. I still fit into those jeans - they hurt when I wear them - but I'm still in them."

She added: "I want to enjoy the pasta right now! What's 10lbs?"

The Charlie's Angels star showed off snaps of her daughter Olive, 15 months.

She said: "She can do every animal noise - we're up to 26 animals. It's amazing!

"Camel is her favourite and crocodile and snake. She does it all - I'm telling you, she's bright! We should all believe our children are bright. That's what we're supposed to do as parents."
